A fraudster, Tajudeen Akintunde and his gang members, Omojola Adeyanju and Tunde Ganiyu, have been arrested after spellbinding a boy.
A boy identified as Safari Taiwo, was sent to deposit money in a bank by his elder sister at Yemetu, Ibadan.
On his way to the bank, Tunde, who pretended to be a pastor, approached Taiwo and prophesized that he had a problem.
The boy believed and stopped to hear more from Tunde, and his gang, he was hypnotized.
After hypnotising the boy, the suspects collected the N15,000 and ATM card with him and withdrew about N93,000, another N50,000 through the POS and another 43,000.
They told the boy he had spiritual problems and he must drop everything on him in order for them to carry out the cleansing.
A member of the gang was then beckoned upon to assist the victim to purchase salt at Iwo road to complete his ritual rites during which everything became unclear to the victim.
Taiwo, however, became conscious while on the way and he alerted the people, thereby leading to the arrest of the fake pastor gang.
