Jail Over Silence
Obasi insists the financial threat holds no power over him. The businessman claimed his focus remains entirely on his children.
”I am the type of people that when I determine on something, I determine it in two ways. Just like what we are doing now. You see all this drama? It’s either I have my children, or I go to jail,” he declared.
He even went a step further to prove his lack of fear. He claims to have contacted his tailor already. He wants to be ready for prison life if the court rules against him.
”I have called on my tailor to sew inmate clothes for me with my size. Understand? So in case. So I choose these two ways,” he added.
The ex-husband accused Judy Austin of hiding their children since 2018. He stated that the actress actually admitted this fact in her own court papers.
”Thank God in that your lawsuit, you say that the last time I called is 2018 in that lawsuit. So you accepted, you said by yourself, you wrote and I quote that the last time I called you is 2018,” he noted.
The Secret Enugu Meeting
Obasi also challenged the core of the defamation claims. He stated that he is simply sharing his own lived truth. He then dropped a major claim about a secret hotel meeting.
”Did you travel to Enugu to come to Nkpor to see me? The answer is yes. Did we lodge in Hotel De Heltin, New Market Road, Nkpor, second floor, did we lodge there? The answer is yes,” he revealed.
He claims this meeting ended on very good terms. He alleged they were intimate and later bought food for their children.
”Did we talk a lot of things and think that everything had been okay and make love? And the tomorrow morning we went to Mr. Biggs to buy some things for our children? The answer is yes,” he stated.
Social Media Backlash
Obasi recalled how the online abuse started against him. He blamed a popular blog for sparking the initial hate. He noted that people insulted him without knowing the true facts.
”You know before before when these things started? When Gistlover interview me. Everybody come for me. ‘Who is this old man?’ ‘Hey, Judy marry her ancestor, Judy marry her ancestor,'” he recalled.
The angry father claimed the actress actually made him suffer. He recalled how his own boys fetched water for her twice a week.
”Let me ask you Judy Austin. What you passed through in your marriage is that my boys will come two times in a week to fetch water,” he concluded before the clip ended.
