The actress posted the official papers on her verified Instagram account. She directed her anger at her ex-husband Emmanuel Chukwuobasi.
”Enough is Enough!!!” she wrote.
The claimant demands exactly one billion naira as general damages for defamation. She also seeks an order forcing him to retract his statements. The court document lists several other huge financial penalties.
Austin wants five hundred million naira in aggravated damages for his repeated publications. She claims his actions caused harmful consequences over a long period.
Demands for public apologies
The legal team added a demand for another five hundred million naira. They labeled this specific amount as exemplary damages. The lawyers hope this massive fee will deter similar conduct.
The lawsuit targets Chukwuobasi directly at his Anambra State address. Austin demands a full and unreserved apology in two national newspapers.
