As the world battles global Coronavirus pandemic, nations are mapping out ways and effective strategies to help contain the fast spread of the deadly virus.
In Nigeria, a 28 day lockdown has been declared and is currently being implement across the country.
However, it seems citizens are finding it difficult to adhere to some Covid-19 instructions such as social distancing and mandatory stay-at-home order, hence, the need for the country to intensify and channel efforts towards educating the masses on the importance of staying at home this period.
It is in the light of the above established premise that the Nigerian Air Force, NAS, as it’s contribution towards containing novel Coronavirus pandemic, has taken to the skies to sensitize Abuja residents on Covid-19 best practices.
In the early hours of today, April 22, 2020, NAF helicopters were sighted in the skies within Abuja conveying covid-19 messages.
In what seemed to be a novel form of awareness creation in Nigeria, the Nigerian Air Force educated the residents of Abuja, one of the most affected areas, on the need to stay at home.
