Keith, a Nigerian bitcoin trader, has returned 7.8 BTC (worth $80,000) that was mistakenly sent to him.
The trader had woken up on the 13th of September, 2019, to a mail that he just received the payment in his block chain wallet.
Initially, he thought it was from a business partner, but hours later he did not receive any information, he then decided to take it to social media for the owner to come forward with time of transaction, address and exact digits sent.
Using specific block chain indicators with information only the sender and him would be able to identify, he was able to authenticate the sender after the person reached out.
Very nice of him!
