The war tussle between COZA pastor and Busola Dakolo, wife of popular musician, Timi Dakolo has taken a new dimension as Nigerian police has gone to confiscate his passport.
A report reaching sochillbeats.com says that Fatoyinbo’s house and office were also searched.
Busola Dakolo accused pastor Biodun of rape and molestation. This accusations surfaced as a result of Timi wife’s long silence on the matter. She said that the pastor raped her many times when she was a young girl as one of her choristers in his COZA church in Ilorin, Kwara State, South Western Nigeria.
The issue has since escalated in a way that even resulted into a pretest by some Fatoyinbo’s church members and well-meaning Nigerians. Stating that Christians don’t condone rape in their religion.
Moreover, there had also been several cases of threats issued to Dakolo family. Reports even had it that the threats were from Pastor Biodun.
Just recently, the residence and office of pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo, were Wednesday searched by detectives from the Force Criminal Investigation Department(FCID), Abuja, who are investigating the alleged rape against him.
According to Daily Sun, the police have also seized his international passport as part of the bail conditions granted to him. He was also made to provide two level 16 officers with landed property in Abuja, before he was freed on bail.
The report added that the COZA pastor was told to be reporting to the FCID, on a daily basis until investigation is concluded.
A source stated that, “the home of the pastor and his office were searched. They were looking for incriminating documents and other evidences that was revealed by witnesses during the discreet investigation conducted in the matter.”
