Aide to the Delta State Governor, Ossai Ovie Success, has accused Big Brother Naija organisers of rigging. He spoke after housemate Dede finished as runner-up in the just-ended season.

His remarks came in a post on X on Sunday night. The message used strong words and implied foul play.
Ossai said Dede was โrobbedโ of the prize. He argued that she made viewers proud throughout the season. He stressed that his stance was not only about her Delta roots. It was, he said, about merit and public pride.
What he claims
In the post, @ossaivovie stated that the show โdidnโt want another Delta to win.โ He pointed to last yearโs winner, Kellyrae, who is from Delta State. That, he argued, led to bias this season.
โShe deserves to win this season, not giving her second position,โ he wrote. He added that he would sue the show โon behalf of Dedeโ because โthe voting was r*gged.โ
The season ended with Imisi taking the top prize. Our earlier report confirmed the outcome and cash award. See this recap of Imisiโs โฆ150m BBNaija 10 win. Dede placed second after a tense final night. She drew wide support across regions and fan bases.
What we know so far
The showโs producers had not publicly replied to Ossaiโs post at press time. His message did not include proof beyond his claims. Voting on the platform runs through verified channels.
Results are usually announced during the live finale broadcast. Earlier, we covered Dedeโs final-night outcome here: Dedeโs runner-up finish in the finale.
Meanwhile, fans continue to debate the last vote. Some back Ossaiโs call for a review. Others point to the final tally and the seasonโs rules. Emotions are high after weeks of intense play. Supporters praise Dedeโs growth, grit, and steady screen moments.
However, accusations of rigging carry serious weight. They demand verifiable facts and clear evidence. If Ossai files a suit, court filings may shed more light.
For now, the allegation remains his personal view. We will update this story if the organisers respond.
