Nigerian social media activist VeryDarkMan has finally stepped away from the ongoing P-Square family dispute. This decision came on August 9, 2026, after intense pressure from angry internet users. Critics slammed him for allegedly defending Jude Okoye and ignoring Peter Okoye’s claims.

Many fans and celebrities supported Peter after he shared evidence against his twin brother Paul and Jude. Liberian actor Frank Artus even posted a video to warn the outspoken activist.

”Stay off Okoye’s family,” Artus warned in his direct video message.

The blame game

VeryDarkMan changed his initial stance before exiting the bitter feud on Sunday evening. He stated that Jude holds the largest share of the blame in the ongoing crisis.

Peter previously insisted that he no longer wanted Jude as their manager. He cited claims of poor financial choices and mismanagement. Jude allegedly refused to step down from his vital role.

”I just want to make one point about this P-Square thing, I see a lot of people saying VDM, you are sounding as if Jude did not have a fault in all of this. As if Jude is innocent and Peter is just saying all of this without trigger,” the activist noted.

”Well personally after listening to Jude and Peter, if you ask me who to put the blame on, I will say I will put 40 percent of the blame on Jude, and I put 30 percent of the blame on Peter, and another 30 percent on the wife, the family and everybody,” he stated.

Shifting to the police panel

The activist also used the moment to address the heavy backlash he received online. He told his critics that they had every right to express their anger.

”And to the people insulting me, it is not a crime. You can insult people. Now there’s balance in views in the P-Square matter,” VeryDarkMan said.

He confirmed he is completely done with the Okoye family drama. The activist now faces a fresh and urgent legal hurdle. He will prepare for a police panel over his recent claims against AIG Jimoh Moshood.
