The ongoing dispute between former Big Brother Naija housemates has escalated into a major legal battle. Segun Olusemo has formally responded to recent claims made by his ex-girlfriend Bella Okagbue.

The reality star shared comprehensive financial records to defend his position. This new development follows a previous exchange where she exposed alleged fraud and stalking claims. Olusemo had initially sparked the legal war after he demanded an apology over unpaid debts.

Financial Claims and Bank Records

Sheggz claims he was the main provider during their relationship. His legal team stated that he handled about 75 percent of their total financial responsibilities.

”Our Client was therefore the main provider throughout the relationship, while your Client maintained her own income and contributed her own share.” His legal team wrote.

The legal documents detailed massive spending on rent and luxury items. Olusemo reportedly spent over 100 million naira on accommodation in Ikoyi alone. He also spent 7 million naira for a temporary two-month rental in Lagos.

He also presented a Monzo bank statement showing large UK expenses. The records indicate he spent over 219,000 pounds between October 2022 and July 2026.

”We can confirm according banking records that can be verified, in UK alone our client spent over £220,000.00 on both their needs.” The lawyers declared.

Vehicles, Property, and Family Conflict

The response also addressed a property in Lekki Phase 2. Olusemo allowed Bella to use this house as a warehouse for two years. He never expected her to pay rent for this space.

Furthermore, he provided several luxury vehicles for her use in Lagos. These cars included a Porsche Cayenne, a Wrangler Jeep, and a Range Rover Supercharged.

He also provided a Mercedes Benz and a BMW for their UK trips. The legal notice then touched on their canceled marriage plans. Olusemo blamed interference from Bella’s sister Sandra Okagbue and her mother Irene Okagbue.

”The intervention of members of your Client’s family… contributed significantly to his decision not to proceed with the relationship.” His legal representatives explained.

Demands for Damages and Apologies

The legal team firmly denied all cyberstalking claims. They explained that a recent video call on WhatsApp was completely accidental.

The lawyers expressed shock that private letters leaked to the blogger Cutie Juls. They demanded the immediate removal of the posts within 24 hours. The team also requested an unreserved public apology to remain online for 48 hours.

Olusemo is now demanding heavy financial compensation for the leak. He wants 500 million naira in damages from his former partner.

”That your Client pay damages to our client in the sum of N500,000,000.00.” The official letter demanded.

The letter also demanded 100 million naira from the blogger Cutie Juls. Dayo Ogunjebe officially signed the legal notice on August 26 to finalize the demands. The legal team threatened court action if the parties ignore these conditions.
