Erigga advises men: Avoid having children with multiple women, no matter your wealth

The rapper says wealth cannot replace a father’s peace and presence.

In a post on X, Nigerian rapper Erigga told men to avoid having children with more than one woman, saying money cannot replace presence, peace or a stable home. He argued that one planned family protects children from growing up like strangers.

Erigga sparked fresh talk on family life with the post. He framed the issue as one of care, not cash.

His warning to men

“Avoid having children with multiple women, no matter how rich you think you are. Money can cover expenses, but it cannot replace your presence, your peace, or a stable home. Build one family with intention before trying to build an empire. Wealth means very little if your children grow up as strangers to one another and to you. Legacy is not measured by how many children you have, but by how well you raise the ones God entrusted to you.” Erigga wrote.

Why the message landed

The rapper’s note struck a nerve because it tied money to duty. He said a child needs more than support. He said a child needs a home that feels whole.
