The ex-wife of comedian Princewill has opened up about the end of their marriage with fresh claims of domestic violence. She said she stayed quiet for a long time because fear and pain kept her silent.
She said she chose to speak after what she called false stories began to spread online. She denied claims that she was unfaithful, and said the divorce papers never blamed her for cheating.
She says the split followed abuse claims
According to her, the marriage broke down because of repeated physical abuse and his own alleged cheating. She said the issue went beyond one fight and left her living in fear.
She added that the matter reached the Lagos State Domestic and Sexual Violence Agency. She said both of them later went through mediation before they finally separated.
She addresses the viral cousin clash
She also spoke about the viral video showing Princewill and her cousin in a fight. She said her cousin had been living with her to help care for her and the children after childbirth.
She claimed Princewill came to the house after their separation and an argument started. She said that clash then turned into the viral scene that spread online.
Therapy, threats and safety fears
The mother of two said she and one of her children are still in therapy. She said the events left lasting pain in the home.
She also said she has received threats since speaking out. She asked the public to hold those she named responsible if anything happens to her or her family.
