Justice Rahman Oshodi approved the application at the Special Offences Court in Ikeja. He set the bail amount at ₦20 million. The judge demanded two responsible sureties to match the sum.
EFCC details fraud claims
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission arraigned the influencer on June 9, 2026. Prosecutors filed two counts of stealing and obtaining money by false pretences.
Authorities claim she scammed Hope Chiropractic Health Clinic Limited. The alleged crime took place in March 2025. Okoro reportedly promised to secure a property lease in the Lekki area.
The defendant pleaded not guilty to all charges. Her legal team then pushed for her temporary release.
Strict bail conditions set
During the hearing, the court questioned the location of her international passport. Her lawyer revealed she lost the travel document. The defence submitted an affidavit of loss alongside published public notices.
Justice Oshodi imposed strict financial rules for her release. Each surety must present a three-year bank statement or a ₦20 million fixed deposit.
The judge also ordered the profiling of Okoro and her sureties. Workers will use the Lagos State Judiciary Bail Information Management System. Officials must notify the Nigerian Immigration Service about her travel ban.
The travel restriction will remain active until the trial ends. Justice Oshodi adjourned the case to October 12, 2026
