Plantation police took ILoveMemphis into custody on Tuesday. The rapper faced a long standoff with a SWAT team before his arrest.

The 2025 hitmaker, known for “Hit The Quan,” now sits in the Broward County Jail. Officials charged him with written threats to kill and resisting an officer. This incident follows other legal troubles for stars, such as when rapper T.I. faced an airport arrest in Georgia.

The case began on Monday, February 9, 2026. Police arrived at the home of ILoveMemphis for a welfare check after his family requested help.

The rapper livestreamed the entire interaction with the officers. He acted in a hostile manner during the broadcast. At one point, he claimed to be a god while speaking to the police.

The encounter turned into a standoff that lasted for several hours. A SWAT team eventually arrived to resolve the matter.

In the video, he told the team he had no weapons. He also spoke to his dog while officers moved inside. This high-profile arrest happens as fans still discuss charges linked to julio foolio from last year.

His family told local news they had sought help for him for days. He remains in custody without bond following a medical evaluation.
