- Nwoko’s team says rehab staff blamed siblings for disruptions. Senator aims to protect his sons and restore her stability.
Senator Ned Nwoko confirmed that toxicology reports linked to Regina Daniels are real. His media team said hospitals acknowledged issuing the tests but denied leaking them.

According to the media statement, the documents showed positive tests for several drugs. The toxicology report published online says she overdosed and was rushed October 3.
What the reports say
The tests reportedly listed cocaine, morphine, ketamine and alcohol metabolites. Sources said six substances were at health-toxic levels in the lab findings.
A hospital source refused to name staff who handled the samples. The statement said Regina was found unconscious and rushed to emergency care.
Her team said doctors stabilised her and began detox and observation. The hospital notes warned that outside visitors could hinder recovery efforts.
Family and treatment dispute
Nwoko’s media team said the rehab centre accused siblings of disrupting care. The team argued those disruptions made steady recovery much harder to achieve.
They said the senator acted out of concern for her welfare and children. “She deserves the chance to regain her health,” the statement read.
Social media reactions ranged from calls for privacy to demands for action. Laila Charani challenges Regina Daniels’ claims added another layer to public debate.
Nwoko’s team said he will continue seeking therapy and legal steps. They emphasised his priority is Regina’s health and their children’s safety
