Cassie Tells Court She’s Afraid If Diddy Is Set Free

Singer Cassie has told the judge handling Diddy’s case that she’s scared. She doesn’t want him to get bail before his sentencing.

On Wednesday, she sent a letter to the court. She asked the judge not to let Diddy go free until he’s fully sentenced.

Cassie and her lawyer, Douglas Wigdor, said Diddy is “likely to pose a danger” to her and others who testified during the trial.

Prosecutors And Witnesses Want Him Locked Up

Prosecutors strongly agree with Cassie. They said the crimes Diddy was convicted of fall under the Mann Act, which is treated like a violent offence. That means, in their eyes, he shouldn’t be granted bail.

Another witness, Deonte Nash, also wrote a letter. He begged the court to keep Diddy in custody.

Diddy’s Legal Team Pushes For $1 Million Bail

However, Diddy’s lawyer has offered a detailed bail plan. He suggested a $1 million bond.

The bond would be cosigned by Diddy himself, his mum, his sister, and the mother of his first daughter.

He also promised Diddy would only travel between New York, Los Angeles, and Miami if granted release.

Cassie’s Painful Testimony Shocked Many

Back in May, Cassie testified over several days. She was pregnant at the time.

She told the court about disturbing things Diddy allegedly did. One moment involved him forcing a woman to pee in her mouth.

She also said she had many infections because of the extreme things Diddy made her do.

One of the strongest pieces of evidence was the video showing Diddy violently attacking Cassie at a hotel. That clip shocked the courtroom and the public.

Even though the jury didn’t find Diddy guilty of sex trafficking, Cassie still feels unsafe.

Cassie Just Wants Protection Before The Final Verdict

Right now, Cassie just wants peace of mind. She said she’s scared Diddy might come after her if he walks free.

So, she’s asked the court to keep him locked up until the final sentence is given.
