Nigerian financial crime agency, Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC has confiscated a ₦37 million Range Rover belonging to Big Brother Naija Lockdown star, Nengi.
According to multiple sources, the Range Rover was seized from Nengi, after it was linked to a businessman, Michael Ukiye Diongoli identified as a Ponzi scammer who gifted the car to Nengi in 2021.
Mr Diongoli has been accused of defrauding people of over ₦1.2 billion through his Ponzi scheme business.
According to a reliable source, Diongoli, after EFCC captured him, was arraigned before Justice Mabrose Lewis Allagoa of Lagos Federal High Court by CID Alagbon.
It was also revealed that Nengi was arrested and arraigned alongside Mr Diongoli, but regained freedom after she confessed to being unaware of Diongoli’s fraudulent activities.

However, rumour also has it that the white Range Rover bought by Diongoli has been replaced with a new car, by another Nengi’s sugar daddy.
Recall that the news about Nengi’s white-coloured Range Rover broke in July 2021, after Nengi posted some photos of herself showing off the car and a house.
The BBNaija star had stated that she bought the car for herself, alongside the new house, but in actuality, the Range Rover and the house were gifts from Michael Ukiye Diongoli to Nengi.
Nengi took part in the Big Brother Naija season 5 Lockdown show in 2020.
