Joan Jacob Ayemi, aka Chef Tuma, the sister to Big Brother Naija season 5 Lockdown star, Rebecca Hampson, better referred to as Nengi has opened up to the fact she pressurized Nengi into fame.
Mrs Joan disclosed that it was just like her own dream to be famous, but she saw that Nengi was in a better position to make it more than her.
She noted that Nengi had wanted a peaceful and quiet life, adding that she sometimes regrets she didn’t force Nengi into being on limelight.
Joan however thanks God for whatever that’s happening.
She wrote, “I was actually the one that pressurized her to go for it… It was more like my dream. She actually wanted a peaceful and quiet life.
“Now I sometimes wish I didn’t.. But in all we
thank God for everything and we will always conquer, After all dem no Dey try to pluck fruit wey neva ripe”.
This statement from Joan comes shortly after the news about EFCC confiscating Nengi’s ₦37 million Range Rover began making the rounds.
Nengi’s Range Rover is said to be a gift from a fraudulent business man, named Michael Ukiye Diongoli, who’s accused of defrauding people of about ₦1.2 billion through his Ponzi scheme business.
Reports have it that EFCC confiscated the Range Rover after it was said to be linked to Mr Diongoli, as one of the items acquired with the proceeds from the Ponzi business.
Mr Diongoli was arrested and arraigned before Justice Mabrose Lewis Allagoa of Lagos Federal High Court.
