Alexandra hospital in Singapore is set to make use of robots to distribute meals and medication in order to reduce exposure of health workers to Covid-19.
A second robot will be task with the responsibility of cleaning and chatting with patients in four different languages including English.
The hospital spokesperson said in a disclosure that the robots that will distribute meals and medication will resume it’s duty by the end of month.
14 suspected cases of Covid-19 in the hospital are in isolation according to the spokesperson, the robot by name BeamPro will be incharge of two isolation ward.
