News broke out recently that veteran Nigerian musician, Eedris AbdulKareem was on this February arrested for allegedly maltreating his landlord, Mr Oladipo Abimbola, over an unpaid N535,000 accumulated electricity (PHCN) bill on January 3, 2020, at Valley View Estate, Ikeja, Lagos
Eedris angrily forced himself into his landlord’s house to beat him up after the man instructed officials of Ikeja Electricity Destribution (IKED) to disconnect his house.
Haven reported the musician to the police, Oladipo claimed that the “Jaga Jaga” crooner is a very dangerous person who has constantly owed him rent.
Meanwhile, Abdul-Kareem came on a different angle that he went to caution his landlord because he has time without number sexually harassed his wife in his absence with failed efforts to make him stop.
Eedris added that Mr Oladipo had also in the past been arrested for a previous case of sexual harassment against a female tenant plus the landlord’s frequent sneaking in their side of the compound without permission.
