Nigeria professional footballer and current Manchester United forward, Odion Jude Ighalo scored his first goal for the Reds today, February 27 since was loaned to the club from Shanghai Greenland Shenhua FC late January 2020.
During the United’s Europa League 2nd leg match with Club Brugge, the Delta State born netted his first goal and 2nd goal of the match at exactly 34 minutes.
However, Ighalo was seen celebrating his goal while dedicating it to his late sister, Mary Ighalo who passed away on December 12, 2019.
And this has historically made Jude Ighalo the first Nigerian to play for Manchester United and the first to score for the club.
More wins, more success.
