DJ Timmy says Dakolo ignored letters after signing the deal
DJ Timmy, also known as Otis Ayodele Kubeyinje, deepened his public row with Timi Dakolo on July 19, 2026, accusing the singer of lacking integrity and failing to honour a contract tied to a cancelled UK tour. Dakolo’s team denied owing any money and threatened legal action.

On July 19, 2026, DJ Timmy escalated his row with Timi Dakolo in a new video. The promoter is also known as Otis Ayodele Kubeyinje. He said Dakolo ignored letters and messages after signing the deal. He also said the singer approved spending before going quiet.
He also hit out at Dakolo’s team. He said their talks broke down over poor communication. This row recalls an earlier ValidUpdates report on the feud, when Timmy first pushed his claim into public view.
Timmy raises the pressure
Timmy said Dakolo signed the contract, then failed to reply. He also challenged the singer to show proof of any complaint about production.
“Timi Dakolo, you’ve proven you lack integrity,” DJ Timmy said.
He said the singer should not ask for more checks after signing the deal. He then pressed his next point in a sharp follow up.
“How can you ask for a portfolio after signing a contract? Why did you sign it if you weren’t satisfied?” he questioned.
What Dakolo’s camp said
ValidUpdates also reported that the dispute centres on a proposed UK tour for May 2026. The deal covered venues, production, visas, flights, accommodation, and transport.
In a separate report, Dakolo denied owing the alleged £4,106 tied to the tour. His lawyers also threatened legal action against the promoter and his representative.
