Former Big Brother Naija housemate Tuoyo Ideh, known as Tuoyo, says he will drag the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) to court over what he calls an infringement of his human right. He said the move follows an encounter with NDLEA operatives in Lagos.

Tuoyo, in a fresh Instagram post three days after the incident, said he was still in pain and traumatised but had now chosen the legal route. He reminded fans that he earlier alleged NDLEA officers picked him up during a late-night operation at a Lagos spot. Read the earlier account of his arrest here.
He thanked everyone who called, sent messages or checked on him since the story broke. According to him, those quick responses helped him stay calm after the shock.
Tuoyo says raid left him traumatised
The BBNaija alum said he was “still trying to process everything” even though days had passed. He stressed that the experience left him both physically hurt and mentally shaken.
Tuoyo added that the decision to sue was not made in anger but in search of justice. He said he wanted the courts to decide if the agency acted within the law during the operation.
NDLEA yet to respond
The NDLEA has in recent weeks been clamping down on Lagos night spots, including the Proxy/Pretty Mike-linked venue where several guests were taken for screening. See how NDLEA raided the Lagos club and moved suspects for profiling.
Legal experts say such suits often ask the court to rule on arrest procedures, length of detention and use of force. If the court finds a breach, it can award damages or issue orders to the agency.
Tuoyo rounded off his post by saying he hoped “justice will take its full course”. He again told fans, “Thank you once again, I appreciate you all.”
