COZA head Biodun Fatoyinbo has shared a new note. He spoke on claims from his last church sermon. The Christ Apostolic Church had raised its own release. The pastor wrote to clear facts and calm all sides.

The press note came on 14 August 2025. He signed as Global Senior Pastor of COZA. The cleric said the CAC piece drew his full attention. He called Apostle Joseph Ayo Babalola a father of faith.
Why he spoke today
Fatoyinbo said people wronged his words in that clip. The pastor thanked CAC for its kind and bold tone. He said the church raised him in his youth. He wrote, “I am indeed grateful,” to the church.
Praise for Apostle Babalola’s legacy
The leader praised Apostle Babalola’s work as too many to count. He said those works still shape many church groups. The pastor added many churches draw their DNA from him. He also said he is a clear beneficiary.
Denial, apology and call for peace
However, the pastor denied slighting the Apostle’s children in that sermon. He wrote, “I would never do that,” to them. He urged all to view the raw sermon online. The note said COZA gives honour and guards that grace.
In addition, he hailed the children for work and clear life. The pastor said they serve God and guard that legacy. He wrote that they are “present day examples” for kids. He added, “I remain proud of their achievements,” as well.
Finally, the cleric gave a plain and full apology today. He said, “I apologise,” for any hurt from his words. He named CAC, the family, and close aides in that line. He vowed never to slight them in any way.
Later on, he asked all sides to end the row. He prayed for CAC and the Babalola name to grow. The pastor wrote their work should “grow in leaps and bounds.” He signed off as “Your Son,” in warm respect.
