SZA has finally answered Nicki Minaj’s string of online insults, and she’s doing it with proof.
In a calm but bold reply on X late Wednesday night (July 16), the “Kill Bill” singer reminded Nicki that she once begged to work with her. Nicki had earlier called SZA a “fake girl’s girl” and claimed the music industry wouldn’t even miss her if she “vanished.”
SZA wrote, “Nicki… You absolutely know my music and what I contribute cause you’ve asked for features twice to no response.”
She didn’t stop there. “In addition to rapping my lyrics on ‘Feelin’ Myself’ — ‘Cooking up the bass looking like a kilo’? Lol ur having a moment… I’m not sure why but be blessed,” she added.

To back her words, SZA shared a screenshot showing what seems to be a message from Nicki’s team.
In the chat, someone asks, “Is SZA recording right now? Got this hook I think she would be dope on.”
That message alone seemed to prove SZA’s point — Nicki clearly admired her work and wanted her on a track.
Billboard reached out to Nicki Minaj’s rep for a comment, but there’s been no reply yet.
Nicki’s Online Tirade Leaves Fans Confused
The drama kicked off earlier in the week when Nicki accused SZA of subtweeting her. SZA had posted, “Mercury retrograde… don’t take the bait lol silly goose,” just after Nicki ranted about TDE boss Punch, SZA’s former manager.
Nicki then dragged SZA online, calling her “ugly,” a “liar,” and someone who “looks like she got stung by a bee.”
She even brought up a years-old tweet where SZA allegedly called her a “clown.” Nicki clapped back, mocking SZA’s freckles, hair, and even her Met Gala appearance in 2018. She accused her of faking it to look friendly on camera, saying, “These be the fake girl’s girls.”
