Nigerian rapper Ms Jorji has accused entertainer Poco Lee of attempted sexual assault. The alleged attack took place in a Dallas apartment in 2024.

Jorji recently released a detailed video explaining the frightening encounter. She says she visited the dancer to seek advice for her music career. The situation quickly turned violent after he made unwanted physical advances.

The Dallas Apartment Encounter

Jorji explained that Poco Lee went to school with her friend in Nigeria. He invited both women to his home when they visited Texas.

The rapper was married at the time and showed him her wedding ring. She hoped he would offer guidance on the music industry. Instead, she claims he suddenly grabbed her private parts.

”Next thing I know, this man grabs my [silenced],” the rapper stated.

Jorji slapped his hand away in pure shock. She initially tried to play off the strange behaviour.

Poco Lee then turned his attention to her friend. He allegedly grabbed the other woman and pulled her dress up. The friend quickly texted Jorji that they needed to leave immediately.

A Violent Escape

The situation escalated as the women tried to exit the apartment. Poco Lee allegedly grabbed the friend and tried pulling her into a room.

Both women fought back and beat him into a corner. Jorji noted that his short stature made it easy to push him aside. They grabbed their bags and ran out of the house.

”We end up beating [silenced], end up pushing him off,” she said.

The terrified friends drove three hours back to their home. Jorji called her husband that same night to report the incident.

Speaking Out Against Predators

The rapper kept quiet about the assault for two long years. She felt nobody would believe her against a famous industry star. She also lacked police evidence since they successfully fought him off.

”I didn’t have the courage to speak up, he was a way bigger artist than me,” Jorji explained.

Recent news of Poco Lee sitting in a London jail prompted her confession. He allegedly attacked another girl there, validating Jorji’s claims.

She expressed deep regret for not sharing her story sooner. An earlier warning might have saved his most recent victim. Jorji warned that many powerful men in Afrobeats share similar predatory behaviours.
