Henry demands his promised twenty percent share of P-Square earnings from former manager Jude Okoye
On August 8, 2026, Henry Okoye publicly accused his younger brother of withholding P-Square royalties. Henry claims Jude Okoye kept his twenty percent share. He said Jude hijacked the management role and isolated the rest of the family from their massive financial success.
The Okoye family feud has taken a fresh turn today. Henry Okoye recently stepped into the public eye to share his grievances.
He claims Jude denied him his rightful earnings. Henry says he funded P-Square during their early days. The duo promised him twenty percent of their royalties in return.
However, Jude allegedly stopped this payment after taking over as manager. He quickly cut Henry out of the financial loop.
The twenty percent promise
Before the twins became superstars, Henry acted as their main sponsor. He used his own funds to boost their career growth. The brothers allegedly agreed on a specific reward for his help.
”Before they started, Paul and Peter promised me 20 per cent of each of their songs’ royalties,” he said.
He expected this steady income as the group gained global fame. Sadly, the funds never reached his bank account.
”I’m the sponsor of P-Square from the time they started until they started making money. When they started, they promised me 20 per cent on each of their music,” Henry explained.
After waiting for years, Henry finally confronted the group. He asked why they failed to pay the agreed share. Jude quickly dismissed his request with a shocking excuse.
”Before I knew it, Jude got up and asked what I meant by 20 per cent and for what purpose. He said they had been travelling to different countries by air and asked what would happen if they had a plane crash. He said I would just be there enjoying myself,” he noted.
Hijacked management and family tension
Henry insists Jude had no role in the early days of P-Square. He claims Jude arrived later and pushed everyone else away.
”I told him, ‘Jude, you were not there when we started P-Square, but you came later and tried to chase everybody away.’ And he did it,” Henry declared.
Their mother originally rejected the idea of Jude managing the twins. She allegedly feared his dark personality. Tony Okoye eventually convinced their mother to give Jude a chance.
Tony worked as a dancer for the group back then. Now, Henry feels Jude has ruined the family bond. As he blamed his brother for the Okoye family split, Henry noted how other siblings suffer.
”Tony Okoye, the immediate elder brother of P-Square, was one of their dancers. Tony is in Lagos, but nobody is hearing about him. This is the first time I’m coming out on social media,” he stated.
The youngest sibling also faces similar struggles today. She remains completely isolated from the wealth of the famous group.
”Our last-born, Mary, is also in Lagos, but Jude did not let them get help from P-Square,” he added.
A history of bitter disputes
This new claim adds fire to an already heated conflict. Peter Okoye recently accused both Paul and Jude of stealing group funds. Peter also sued Jude to stop him from using P-Square songs.
Jude strongly denied all these claims in court. He insists he fully owns the rights to the brand.
Fans continue to support Peter as he pushes his solo music career. Some angry fans even nicknamed Jude “Judas Iscariot” online. The public drama shows no signs of slowing down.
