Dapper Music founder denies financial crimes and challenges his former stars to hire top auditors
On August 15, 2026, Dapper Music CEO Damilola Akinwunmi publicly denied allegations of theft and forgery from former artists Seyi Vibez, Shallipopi, and T.I Blaze. The music executive challenged the stars to conduct forensic audits, maintaining that all financial records prove his innocence.
Music executive Damilola Akinwunmi finally responded to his former artists. The Dapper Music boss rejected their recent financial allegations.
Three popular singers recently accused the label founder of massive theft. Seyi Vibez sparked the dispute with sudden demands for a billion naira. Shallipopi later followed with his own complaints about alleged missing million dollar funds.
Audit challenges and firm denials
Akinwunmi used his social media platform to defend his reputation on August 15, 2026. The label chief advised his critics to stop lying to the public.
”I will not demean myself by disrespecting the one thing I stand on, which is my love for music. So I won’t stoop so low as to engage in insults.” The music boss wrote.
”So much to say, but so few ways to say it.” He continued.
The founder expressed complete confidence in his company accounts. He stated that relevant authorities already possess the necessary legal documents. He then warned the singers to drop their current media campaigns.
”I have nothing to hide. The records exist. The authorities have them. Let the process establish the truth.” He declared.
”Don’t come online and spill rubbish narratives, & lies, only to mislead the public !” The founder shouted.

The label executive mocked the artists for avoiding formal legal spaces. He revealed that a reputable firm recently audited the music company.

Akinwunmi challenged the disgruntled stars to hire elite law firms. He named several top accounting organizations that could review their contracts. The boss dismissed their claims about unpaid music royalties as baseless noise.
”If e sure for any of you, make we go KPMG, PwC, Deloitte, Templers, Aluko & Oyebode, Olaniwun Ajayi LP, Udo Udoma & Belo-Osagie.” He challenged.
”Any top law firm and auditing/accounting firm. Let them run a forensic analysis and interpret both the accounts and the contract for us, and tell you I cheated you?!” The leader asked.
The executive criticized the musicians for their lavish spending habits. He urged them to invest in real accounting instead of jewelry.

The executive reminded T.I Blaze about their early business relationship. He claimed he funded the singer before receiving any audio tracks. This directly contradicts recent accusations involving falsified contract documents.

The label chief defended his compensation structure for his artists. He insisted that every signee received massive financial advances. He also mentioned offering them higher royalty percentages.
