The beauty entrepreneur exposed old text messages and bank transfers to defend her public image.
On August 14, 2026, Adeola Diiadem launched a severe online attack against former friend Dabota Lawson. Adeola published private messages and bank receipts to address long-standing rumors. She accused Dabota of financial jealousy, pursuing her married ex, and speaking poorly about Tonto Dikeh.

On August 14, 2026, the ongoing dispute between two prominent Nigerian beauty figures reached a new peak. Adeola Diiadem released multiple private records to counter claims made by Dabota Lawson.
Fans watched closely as the social media conflict quickly intensified online. Adeola decided to clear her name regarding several business and personal disputes. She addressed accusations involving men, financial debts, and mutual industry friends.
Tonto Dikeh and romantic setups
Adeola strongly rejected claims that she denied knowing a man named Churchill. She stated that Churchill actually rejected Dabota’s friend named Ehi.
”As for Churchill, I’ve never denied knowing him,” Adeola wrote.
Adeola claimed Dabota spent significant time trying to connect Ehi with Churchill. She also accused Dabota of trying to introduce her directly to Churchill. Adeola recalled telling her former friend that she already knew him.
”You went on to speak badly about Tonto, called her names, and repeatedly told me how much you disliked her,” Adeola noted.
Dabota allegedly warned Adeola to avoid greeting Tonto Dikeh in Abuja. Adeola ignored this warning and greeted the actress anyway.
Financial disputes and jealousy
The beauty boss then shifted her focus to their shared business history. She detailed an incident where they pitched brands for a large sum. Adeola requested $100k for her foundation line during a specific presentation.
”You had nothing to say publicly, but behind closed doors, you called me and told me the amount I requested was too small,” Adeola stated.
Dabota then allegedly requested the exact same amount for her own project. Adeola also addressed a separate rumor concerning a bank loan.
Adeola clarified that she borrowed ₦1 million from Dabota during a meeting. She experienced bank network issues and could not transfer funds immediately. Adeola later returned ₦1.5 million to cover the loan and buy gifts.
”When I paid you back, I sent ₦1.5 million and even added extra so you could buy gifts for your daughter,” Adeola declared.
Boundary issues and ex-partners
The conflict also involved Adeola’s former romantic partner. Adeola claimed Dabota desperately wanted access to her married ex.
She accused Dabota of remaining in contact with this specific man. Adeola asked how Dabota could justify visiting her home to count her stairs. She felt Dabota wanted a piece of whatever she thought Adeola had.
”How do you explain remaining in contact with my ex and spending hours on the phone with him?” Adeola questioned.
Adeola shared extensive text messages showing exactly why she ended the friendship. She ultimately decided she needed to protect her peace and enforce strict boundaries.
