Adekoya Ibukunoluwa sues Sandra Edoho: N100m defamation claim

Entrepreneur says Sandra Edoho spread false claims after an Instagram row over Frank Edoho

Entrepreneur Adekoya Ibukunoluwa has filed a ₦100 million defamation suit against Sandra Edoho in Lagos. Court papers dated July 17, 2026, accuse Frank Edoho’s estranged wife of libel, privacy breach, and false claims tied to an alleged affair.

The suit has drawn fresh attention to the Edoho marriage dispute. It also adds a new legal fight around claims that Sandra posted Adekoya’s photo, private chats, and a video online.

Court filing and core claims

Adekoya said Sandra published damaging posts on Instagram. She said the posts linked her to an extramarital affair with broadcaster Frank Edoho.

According to the court documents, Festus Ogun of FOLEGAL filed the suit for her. The filing accused Sandra of libel, fraudulent misrepresentation, and breach of privacy.

The claimant also said Sandra impersonated Frank on WhatsApp in November 2023. She said the message invited her to the Edoho home in Lagos with a ₦10 million offer.

What Adekoya says happened in 2023

Adekoya further claimed that someone posing as Frank’s brother took her to the house. She said the people there locked her in a room.

She said Frank later apologised after he learned what happened. That claim sits at the centre of her case.

The entrepreneur said Sandra later shared her image and messages online. She said the posts made her look like one of several women involved with Frank.

What she wants from the court

Adekoya wants the court to declare the posts defamatory. She also wants Sandra to delete the content and issue a public apology.

In addition, she wants a stop order against any future posts on the same matter. She is asking for ₦100 million in damages and legal costs.
