Nkubi’s wife, Nkechi Vivian, has revealed that a doctor advised her to cheat on her husband to avoid birthing a child with dwarfism. Speaking in an interview on February 10, 2026, she disclosed that the medic suggested she sleep with her brother-in-law instead. The couple also addressed the online bullying directed at their daughter.

Nkechi Vivian, the wife of popular content creator Nwaogu Udochukwu, known as Nkubi, has shared a disturbing encounter with a medical professional.
On February 10, 2026, the couple sat for an interview where Nkechi detailed the shocking advice she received during a pregnancy scan.
She explained that the doctor inquired if there was a history of dwarfism in her family. When she confirmed her husband was a little person, the doctor’s response left her speechless.
”The doctor asked why I didn’t go to my brother-in-law or go outside to get pregnant instead of getting pregnant for my husband,” Nkechi stated.
Unsolicited medical intrusion
The suggestion implied that infidelity was a valid medical solution to ensure her child did not inherit her husband’s condition. Nkechi noted that the doctor explicitly proposed she use a “sperm donor” or an outsider.
This audacious comment mirrors the heated gender debates sparked when Uche Ogbodo blamed males for 95% of failed marriages earlier this today. Despite the unprofessional conduct, Nkechi stood her ground and continued with her pregnancy.
The couple eventually welcomed a healthy daughter, though the journey was not without fear. Nkechi revealed that their baby fell into a coma for seven days shortly after birth. This health scare delayed their decision to show the child to the public.
Battling online trolls
Beyond the hospital drama, the couple faces constant scrutiny from social media users. Nkubi admitted that they anticipated backlash before revealing their daughter’s face. He noted that while he has developed a thick skin, the attacks on his child still hurt.
”We knew we were going to get reactions,” Nkubi said. “Personally I was ready, but sometimes it hurts when you see those things.”
Nkechi takes a more direct approach to the bullies. She screenshots nasty comments and reposts them to shame the trolls. The couple’s defiance of societal pressure recalls how Elozonam rejected marriage pressure after a friend’s divorce recently.
Nkubi added that he is a “realist” who knows he cannot completely change societal perceptions. However, he hopes to raise his daughter to be confident regardless of public opinion.
Changing the narrative
The actor also criticized the film industry for stereotyping little persons. He observed that directors often cast them solely as comic relief or herbalists. Nkubi argued that little persons deserve roles that explore their humanity beyond their height.
”We live in a world dominated by average height individuals,” he explained. “It is difficult for people to write stories focusing on little people.”
He plans to guide his daughter toward a future where she is respected for her achievements. Nkubi specifically mentioned his dream of seeing her become a fashion model, breaking barriers he faced.
