Nollywood actor Yomi Fabiyi says he has a videotape linked to Mohbad (Ilerioluwa Promise Aloba). He said the clip shows a confession and how the singer died.

Fabiyi said the file was sent to him to extort money. He said Mohbad’s younger brother tried to sell the footage to him mohbad footage for sale.
What Fabiyi says
Fabiyi told reporters he received the file via a social video message. He said the sender demanded payment before releasing full footage publicly.
He wrote an open letter asking for urgent federal action and a full forensic check. Fabiyi said only federal action can secure the original evidence.
Family and police responses
Mohbad’s family rejected claims some relatives sold footage to outsiders. His brother denied holding proof and said he had not asked for money.
Police said they have been investigating Mohbad’s death since 2023. A rights group urged the inspector general to probe evidence call for probe now.
