The misspellings first showed as “Waldrope” and then as “Wadrope,” which also missed the correct spelling.

Kuture posted his own photos with a screenshot of Mide’s post and a caption that poked fun at the slips.

He wrote a line saying he was “in Ward-D” and told her to “bring your rope,” which fans quickly shared. Kuture defends Imisi is one of his recent posts that also drew attention online.

Why fans noticed the typo

Many viewers picked up the error and reposted it with jokes and memes across social platforms. The simple misspelling spread rapidly among BBNaija fan accounts and comment threads.

Fans argued the mistake was harmless but ripe for light teasing among housemates.

Kuture’s post added to the buzz by turning the typo into a playful jab rather than a serious attack. His caption referenced the spelling directly and used a short rhyme to sharpen the tease.

The clip of the exchange circulated on fan pages and prompted replies from other former housemates.

What this means for house chat

Short on drama, this kind of banter keeps fans talking and the show trending online. Small moments like typos become shareable clips for fan pages and entertainment accounts. The social reaction shows how even tiny slips can become part of a show’s social feed.

Mide has not published a correction thread beyond her initial edits, and she has not issued a formal response to Kuture’s post.

The pair have continued with other posts while fans debate whether the exchange was playful or pointed. For more on recent Kuture headlines, see the report on Joanna and Kuture’s eviction.

The online moment is small but telling: simple errors can quickly turn into shared jokes among fans and contestants. BBNaija viewers will likely treat this as another light moment in the season’s wider chatter.
