Nicki Minaj (Onika Tanya Maraj-Petty) says the album is off. She posted early Wednesday, 15 October, saying no more music. She also tagged Jay-Z (Shawn Corey Carter) in blame.

The posts reignite her feud with Roc Nation and allies. She wrote, “Ok I’m not going to put out the album anymore.” See our Nicki Minaj court judgment report for recent context.
What she posted on X
Minaj told fans, “No more music,” and said goodbye to Barbz. She claimed Roc Nation begged for a tour and album. She tagged Jay-Z twice and wrote, “Hope you’re happy now.”
Why Roc Nation is involved
Minaj is signed to Republic Records, not Roc Nation management. Yet she has fought with Jay-Z and CEO Desiree Pérez. She earlier alleged unpaid Tidal money and social media limits.
In September, she flagged 27 March 2026 as the release day. The post remains pinned on her profile at press time. Billboard noted the date last night while covering her tweets.
Her last album, Pink Friday 2, topped the Billboard 200. It opened with 228,000 units, per Luminate and Billboard. It made her the first female rapper with three number ones.
Fans urged a break from posts and asked her to rest. Some cited her calmer tone in recent apology posts recap. Others said silence can speak more than tweets during fights.
