Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan now has her seat back. This morning, the Sergeant at Arms unsealed Room 205. Security teams joined the move and cleared the halls. Staff say she holds a valid pass into NASS.

The Senate plans a full sitting on Monday, 7 October. So, her return could happen in that week. The chamber locked the room for six long months. A clash over seat rows led to the long break.
How the six-month suspension began
The chamber suspended her on Thursday, 7 March. The row with Senate President Godswill Akpabio rose that day. They argued on seat spots on the red floor. The house then sent her home for half a year.
Earlier this month, the Clerk wrote her a firm note. He said she should not resume work just yet. He linked that to an active court fight. He added that return would wait till the case ends.
Last week, the Rivers assembly resumes sitting after six months. Lawmakers across the land push back to work.
Court case still hangs over the return
The Clerk says Natasha and the Senate are in court. That case still guides what comes next in Abuja. For now, the doors in NASS have opened again. The next sitting will set the path for her work.
