Key Points:
- Cubana Chief Priest says he can’t attend Davido’s Miami wedding.
- He blames visa problems but hopes to reapply soon.
- His absence sparked trolling from critics, including Hellen Ati.
Cubana Chief Priest has shared why he will miss Davido and Chioma’s wedding in Miami on Sunday, August 10.

The celebrity barman said visa issues have stopped him from travelling to the United States. His post comes after several trolls, including his alleged Kenyan baby mama Hellen Ati, mocked him over the matter.
Chief Priest said he woke up with “mixed feelings.” He is happy for the couple but sad that he cannot be there in person. According to him, God sometimes shows people that they are “powerless” no matter their status.
Chief Priest says he will try again
He noted that the online bashing has given him more reasons to apply for a visa again. He urged the US Embassy in Nigeria to “do it for me this time.”
“You can see how disappointed and hurt the world is to see me absent at my best friend’s wedding,” he said. “You need to give me access to get my fat ass into America.”
Despite the setback, he believes “delay is never denial” and remains hopeful.
Present in spirit through his wife
Chief Priest wished Davido and Chioma “an amazing wedlock.” He added that part of him — his wife — is already in Miami to share in the joy.
“The largest part of me, which is my family, my beautiful, elegant, expensive, eloquent and sophisticated wife, is there to share in this luxury blissful experience,” he wrote.
He confirmed that he will reapply for his visa next week. Calling the US “the greatest country in the world,” he admitted the pain of missing the wedding is “really paining.”
ValidUpdates earlier reported that Davido and Chioma’s Miami wedding will be a grand event. Family, friends, and associates are already in the city. The pre-wedding party took place on Friday night, with more celebrations planned before the big day.
