Yinka Opens Up On Relationship With Linc Edochie
Yinka Theisen has finally shared her side of the story about her past romance with actor and filmmaker Linc Edochie.
Speaking in a new interview with actor Uche Maduagwu, she revealed that Linc made several shocking claims about his estranged wife, Amaka Paula, which made her feel deeply for him.

“I started a relationship with him after he told me a very, very sad thing,” Yinka said. “He said his wife was cheating with Alhajis in Abuja and smoked weed every day.”
According to her, Linc also claimed that his ex-wife denied their last child access to seizure medication. These revelations, Yinka added, made her draw emotionally close to him.
Linc Edochie and His Past Marriage
Linc Edochie married Amaka Paula in December 2010. The couple had two children together before their relationship reportedly fell apart.
In May 2025, Linc got engaged to Yinka Theisen, months after separating from Amaka. However, the relationship didn’t last.
Just a month after their engagement, Linc ended things with Yinka. He reportedly broke up with her after she got involved in the social media drama between Yul Edochie and Queen May, who are also going through a divorce.
“I Supported Him Through Tough Times” – Yinka
In her emotional chat with Uche Maduagwu, Yinka said she gave Linc her full support during one of the toughest periods in his life.
“This is a man a lot of people don’t know,” she explained. “The Edochie family had a tragic event recently, and I was there for him. I came to Lagos to stay with him. I supported him fully.”
However, Yinka didn’t reveal more about the family’s private issues. “It’s a sensitive thing. I don’t want to bring out a family secret that a lot of people don’t know about,” she added.
Despite feeling used and hurt, Yinka insists her support for Linc came from a place of genuine care. She believed he was a good man going through pain caused by betrayal.
“I couldn’t believe that a woman would repeatedly cheat on such an awesome man,” she said.
