Tacha Reveals She’s Planning to Enter Politics
Reality TV star and entrepreneur Anita Natasha Akide, famously known as Tacha, has revealed her interest in joining Nigerian politics.
During a recent chat with media personality Ebuka, the Port Harcourt-born star didn’t hold back her views. She spoke strongly about the poor state of governance in Rivers State, which she believes has been badly managed.
Tacha said the state has massive potential but leaders have failed to unlock it. She compared Rivers to other places like Abuja and Lagos, pointing out how much progress they’ve made.
“When I look at other states like Abuja and Lagos and I see how far they’ve come, and with the potential Rivers State has, they’re not trying to exploit it. It’s just very disappointing,” she said.
“There are so many youths, so many talents there. So many things that, if the government can see light into, a lot can happen.”
“It’s Time to Stop Complaining and Act” – Tacha
The BBNaija Pepper Dem star explained that she no longer believes in simply criticising leaders. She said lasting change only happens when you’re involved in decision-making.
“I’ve realised that you have to be part of the system to fix it,” she explained. “You can’t just stand outside and complain.”
When asked if she has real plans to enter politics, Tacha didn’t confirm all the details. But she hinted that something is already in the works.
“It is something I’m working on. I’ll have to make it 70% done before I can talk about it,” she said. “It does not make sense granting interviews like this, talking about the government without being involved.”
Tacha Also Aims for Makeup World Record
Aside from politics, the media star also shared a bold plan for another major move.
She hopes to break the Guinness World Record for the most makeup looks completed in 24 hours. Her target is 150 faces.
Tacha didn’t give a date yet, but she made it clear that she’s going all in to hit this big goal.
