Ruth Kadiri Says Her Husband Isn’t Hidden — He Just Likes Privacy
Popular Nollywood actress Ruth Kadiri has finally spoken about why her husband, Mr Ezerika, is hardly ever seen in public.
Speaking on the Dear Ife podcast hosted by Diary of a Naija Girl, Ruth made it clear that her marriage is not a secret. She just enjoys keeping it away from the noise.
She explained that she doesn’t hide her husband, and he’s very much part of her life, both at home and in public. But he simply doesn’t enjoy being in the spotlight.
“We go to church together, we attend events together,” she shared. “My life is not as private as people think.”
Her Husband Attends Events But Chooses Low Attention
Kadiri made it clear that Mr Ezerika is always by her side, especially during events she organises. He just prefers not to be the centre of attention.
She added that people who know her closely have met her husband and know exactly who he is.
“My husband is not a secret. People who know me, know him,” she said. “And for me, that’s enough.”
Privacy Over Public Display
Ruth also questioned the need to post or show off her partner just to please others. She asked why anyone would think she needs to prove her marriage to the world.
“I don’t know why I will sit down and be thinking, what am I proving?” she said with a smile.
“It’s just peace I want.”
The mother of two also pointed out that staying quiet and living peacefully has helped her avoid unnecessary drama in her marriage.
