May Edochie Speaks Out Amid Apology Letter Drama
May Edochie has finally reacted to a trending letter claiming she apologised to her estranged husband, Yul Edochie.
This letter started making the rounds on social media just as their divorce case entered another stage. Many fans were confused and unsure if the letter was real.

However, May wasted no time clearing the air.
Her Lawyer Sets the Record Straight
May’s legal representative, Emeka Ugwuonye, posted a strong message on Facebook. He said May did not write or send any apology letter to Yul.
He called the viral letter “a desperate attempt to create a narrative when other efforts have failed.”
In his words, “May did NOT issue any apology. It was Yul who chose polygamy, and previously apologised. However, such apology would not alter the current legal situation.”
The lawyer urged the public to stop spreading false stories. He added, “There has been no apology from May. She’s continuing to pursue the divorce proceedings and damages related to adultery.”
Why the Divorce Started in the First Place
May filed for divorce in 2023 after Yul shocked everyone by introducing actress Judy Austin as his second wife in April 2022.
She pointed to adultery as her main reason for ending the marriage.

Alongside the divorce, May is asking the court to make Judy pay N100 million in damages. She believes Judy played a key role in wrecking her marriage.
What’s Next for May and Yul?
The divorce case is still ongoing. But May’s latest reaction shows she’s focused and won’t be swayed by fake stories.
So far, there’s been no official comment from Yul or Judy about the fake letter.
Fans are watching closely to see how things will unfold, especially with May standing her ground.
