Big Brother Naija Season 10 housemate Denari sparked a major conversation after accusing fellow housemates of faking emotions for the cameras. In a private chat with Danboskid, Denari claimed some tears and emotional moments in the house are “not genuine.”
“People escalate things in this house and I’m sitting back dey observe. This is fake! But it’s a performance. I can understand, but it’s fake. I can see they are acting all these things. Some tears I have seen is not genuine,” Denari said.
Calls out Mensan and Kaybobo
Denari pointed at two housemates directly. “Mensan dey cry fake tears. Kaybobo cried fake tears today because he has seen this guy crying especially. He has been watching this guy.”
He explained the incident that triggered his suspicion. “What caused their provocation today na say he tell Mensan say make he no talk say kings cry too. Because you dey like to cry no mean say everybody like to cry. Boom, I catch am. 20 seconds later he was sobbing and girls are telling him calm down.”
Danboskid suggested it was all about attention. “Him doing that is him trying to have the attention he sees they are getting.” Denari nodded in agreement. “Boom! You are good. That’s why I love talking to actors. That’s why I like acting. That’s why I love this profession. Him doing that is observation. He don know say e go work for am.”
Plans to stage their own moment
Denari then revealed a plan to Danboskid. “I need the two unlikeliest people that they do not think will flare up at each other to flare up. But we need to coordinate. This is something we cannot tell anyone in this house.”
He stressed the need for execution. “We need to plan it perfectly. We need our own flare up moment. We need a perfect performance, you understand. A proper flare up that will start from an anti-climax to the climax. You know that kin package?” Danboskid agreed quickly, saying, “Yeahhhh.”
Denari finalised the strategy. “That’s why I brought you here to pick an idea and pick a moment, but it has to be tomorrow.” Danboskid responded, “Now we are acting.” Denari corrected him. “No, we are giving a performance. We don’t care.”
