Nollywood actress and singer Angela Okorie has opened up about her health, revealing she is still battling the aftermath of a past gun attack.
Taking to Instagram, the actress posted a video of herself undergoing treatment at the hospital. In her caption, she explained that the past two weeks have been extremely difficult. She revealed that she’s been in and out of hospitals for a series of tests on her head and body.
Angela shared, “Last two weeks have been so hectic lovers. It’s been one hospital or the other running some series of tests on my head and body.”
Doctors Discover More Bullet Fragments in Her Head
The mother of one shockingly disclosed that doctors recently found more fragments of bullet pellets still lodged in her head. She explained that despite being attacked by armed men in 2019, bullet fragments continue to surface.
“I went for my check-ups. It was found that there are still fragments of bullet pellets on my head,” she wrote.
Angela added that this isn’t the first time. As the years go by, more fragments keep coming out. This discovery has once again reminded her how fragile life is and how important good health should be taken seriously.
She noted, “Good health is underestimated… but at the end, it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy.”
“God Is With Me No Doubt,” She Says
The actress, who proudly calls herself the #LegitQueen, credited her survival and recovery to God’s mercy.
Angela wrote, “God is with me no doubt and may His name be praised. Amen.”
As a result of her condition, her doctor has placed her on strict bed rest. She didn’t share how long the rest period would last but promised fans she’s staying strong.
Her post has since sparked concern and prayers from fans and followers across social media, many of whom remembered the traumatic incident years ago when she survived a reported gun attack in 2019.
