Carter Efe slams Wizkid during live session
Popular Nigerian skit maker, Carter Efe, has lost access to both his Instagram and TikTok accounts just days after he openly criticised Afrobeats singer, Wizkid, during a TikTok live session.
During the live stream on Tuesday, Carter Efe strongly condemned Wizkid’s attitude, saying the singer was too proud.
He said, “If Wizkid calls me my G, that means Lion don get belle. E no fit happen. That boy too get pride, idiot.”

This harsh comment didn’t go well with Wizkid’s fanbase, famously known as Wizkid FC. Many of them took to social media, threatening to report and take down his TikTok, Instagram, and even YouTube accounts.
Instagram account with 1.8 million followers disappears
On Wednesday evening, Carter Efe shared a post on X (formerly Twitter), revealing that his verified Instagram account, which had over 1.8 million followers, had been taken down.
He blamed Wizkid FC for the incident and expressed deep frustration.
He tweeted, “FC una collect my Instagram account of 1.8 million followers.”
TikTok gone too — Carter Efe pleads for mercy
A few moments later, the skit maker posted an emotional video where he confirmed that his TikTok account had also been blocked.
He appeared visibly shaken and in pain as he begged for forgiveness.
In his video message, he said, “This is getting too much, TikTok account gone, FC una betrayed me. Abeg make una forgive me Wizkid FC. Wizkid abeg no vexxx help me beg FC abeggggg I’m in severe pain.”

The incident has sparked mixed reactions online. While some fans believe he deserved the backlash, others argue that taking down his accounts was an extreme response.
As of now, Carter Efe has not confirmed whether his accounts will be restored or if he plans to open new ones.
