Popular Nigerian billionaire’s son and reality TV star, Kiddwaya, has shown support for celebrity barman, Cubana Chief Priest, after the latter was criticised online.
The businessman was dragged on social media for kneeling before Nigeria’s Vice President, Kashim Shettima, and later doing the same when he met President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Many Nigerians on social media didn’t like the act and felt it was unnecessary. They called him out for what they believed was an act of submission. Some even mocked him, saying it showed desperation. But Kiddwaya doesn’t agree with them.

The Big Brother Naija star took to Instagram to praise Cubana Chief Priest for achieving what many only dream of — meeting the president of the country.
“It’s Not Easy to Meet a President” – Kiddwaya
In his post, Kiddwaya reminded critics that it is not a small thing to meet a country’s president. He told Cubana Chief Priest to ignore the haters and keep winning. Kiddwaya’s words read: “To meet president you think na easy!! @cubana_chiefpriest no mind the haters. More wins my brother.”
This message quickly caught the attention of fans and followers online. While some agreed with him, others still had their doubts.
Netizens React to the Kneeling Incident
The post sparked mixed reactions from social media users. Some supported Kiddwaya’s view and praised Cubana Chief Priest for meeting top leaders. Others continued to question the need for kneeling.
One user, @Rozam1030, said: “Imagine… People that have never had the opportunity of meeting their local government chairman are criticising a man that met his president.”
Another user, @SeaJustified, didn’t hold back: “So if dem dey count president, Tinubu dey among abi? All these rich kids wey no get single sense sha.”
A few others made light jokes about the handshake and the moment.
@Simplytrendd wrote: “Presidential handshake no small too.”
While @oluwaace was confused by one of the emojis Kiddwaya used, asking: “More wins but why the ‘💦’? Wetin that one mean!?”
Kiddwaya and Cubana Chief Priest Stay Positive
Despite the backlash, neither Kiddwaya nor Cubana Chief Priest has shown any regret. Instead, they both seem focused on celebrating the moment and encouraging others to aim high.

Cubana Chief Priest has not responded directly to the negative comments. But he has shared more photos from the meeting and continues to post motivational messages.
Kiddwaya, who is known for always speaking his mind, used his platform to defend someone he respects. He clearly believes that meeting the president is something to be proud of.
As the online drama continues, one thing is clear — both Kiddwaya and Cubana Chief Priest are not letting the critics stop their shine.
