In a shocking revelation, Idris Olanrewaju Okuneye, widely known as Bobrisky, has alleged that he paid N5 million to a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) in a bid to secure a Federal Government pardon for money laundering charges.

The claims were made in a leaked audio recording, stirring up considerable controversy.

“I’m supposed to finish my sentence by July, but if we get the amnesty, I could leave by the first week of next month,” Bobrisky allegedly states in the recording.

His circumstances have become increasingly precarious given that the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has frozen his bank accounts, complicating his financial situation.

Bobrisky claims that he initially intended to pay a sum of N10 million to the unnamed SAN but found himself unable to make the full payment due to the asset freeze. “My godfather gave me N5 million and we sent it to the SAN two weeks ago. He has already submitted the pardon request,” he reportedly stated.
