- – Social media influencer Martins Vincent Otse, known as VeryDarkMan, will provide evidence against crossdresser Bobrisky during a House of Representatives hearing.
- – VeryDarkMan’s lawyer stated that his client prefers to testify only in the presence of Bobrisky and the EFCC chairman, as he holds significant evidence related to allegations of bribery and money laundering.
- – The House of Representatives has summoned both VeryDarkMan and Bobrisky to investigate serious claims of corruption and address concerns about financial accountability in Nigeria.
In a dramatic twist, social media influencer and activist Martins Vincent Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan, has pledged to provide crucial evidence against the well-known crossdresser Idris Okuneye, better known as Bobrisky.
This announcement unfolded during a recent investigative hearing convened by the House of Representatives.
A Standstill in Proceedings
During the hearing, which aimed to address serious allegations surrounding Bobrisky, VeryDarkMan, represented by his lawyer Deji Adeyanju, revealed that he possesses additional evidence not yet available to the public.

Adeyanju clarified that while VeryDarkMan is willing to assist the committee, his testimony will depend on the presence of Bobrisky and the Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Ola Olukayode.
“VeryDarkMan hasn’t refused to speak; we came prepared with significant evidence,” Adeyanju stated. “However, since the key parties are absent, he prefers to communicate through his counsel.”
Earlier in the hearing, VeryDarkMan had expressed his reluctance to proceed without the presence of both Bobrisky and the EFCC chairman. “I will not say anything until Bobrisky and the EFCC chairman are here. If I say anything, let me die,” he proclaimed, indicating the seriousness of the allegations he has presented.
Allegations of Bribery and Money Laundering
VeryDarkMan’s appearance in front of the National Assembly centres on accusations that Bobrisky bribed the EFCC with a staggering N15 million to quash money laundering charges against him.

In an audio recording released by VeryDarkMan, Bobrisky purportedly indicated that the funds were intended to secure favourable treatment from the EFCC.
Furthermore, Bobrisky alleged that he was spared from serving a six-month sentence in the infamous Kirikiri prison, thanks to the influence of a powerful benefactor.
However, the crossdresser has categorically denied these claims, labelling the audio evidence as a fabrication.
House of Representatives Steps In
In light of these serious accusations, the House of Representatives has taken the initiative to summon VeryDarkMan, Bobrisky, and EFCC Chairman Ola Olukayode for an ad hoc investigative hearing.

This move signifies the assembly’s commitment to addressing the rising concerns surrounding corruption and accountability within Nigeria’s financial institutions.
As the situation unfolds, the public awaits further developments in this high-profile case.
With both sides poised for a showdown, the House of Representatives’ inquiry promises to shine a light on the controversial world of social media fame and the shadowy dealings that sometimes lie beneath it.
