Ex-Big Brother Naija season 8 Housemate and former See Gobe star Uriel Ngozi Oputa reveals some unknown information about her colleague and co-All Stars Housemate Hazel Oyeze Onoduenyi, aka Whitemoney.
Uriel made it clear during her post-eviction media rounds that the Shine Ya Eye show winner Whitemoney wanted to date her before the All Stars show, but she knows who she is and couldn’t get herself in a relationship that may get her off balance.
Uriel, who left the All Stars House as the second contestant to be evicted after Princess also tells the interviewers at the Beat FM Lagos about how phony and fake she senses Whitemoney’s game, ranging from the fact he sees her as a competition.
While making more assertions on the dating issue, Uriel adds that Whitemoney can’t deny the fact he wanted to date her. But if he tries to dwny it, she has receipts and will make them public.
Uriel’s statement reads below.
“The reason I mentioned Whitemoney is, the person I knew outside is definitely not the person that was in. And I felt like he did a lot of things because he felt intimidated by my person, especially within the kitchen area.
“And I don’t think Whitemoney is genuine at all. I don’t think so. The experience I had with him outside is totally different from [what I saw inside the House]
“I mean he [Whitemoney] has a brilliant brand and I think he will continue to have an excellent brand and continue to drive full force.
“But the reason I made that, you know I’ve seen certain things, like he tries to turn certain people against me or try to talk them into being a certain way towards me, and that’s why I felt, I will say little bit hurt because I’ll not give anybody power to hurt me. But I’ll say I felt disappointed in his actions.
“But him in general, he’s a fantastic businessman, and I wish him the best of luck. But as for us to … I’m not sure where our relationship will lead because he tried to date me outside the House and we get into the House it’s a different story altogether.
“Of course, he was trying to date me”. Uriel was asked if there’s any possibility that it’ll happen. She says, “No because I will say this, I know who I am”.
The interviewer asks Uriel if the reason Whitemoney turned people against her in the House is because she rejected him outside the House. “But did you reject him though?” The interviewer asks.
Uriel responds, “I will tell you this, a lot of people, because of where I come from, you know, I grew up in the UK, I’m Igbo, but I don’t speak my language well but I try. If you’ve watched, I’ve always tried to mix Igbo with what I do.
“I feel a lot of people underestimated me, a lot of people underestimate me because I’m a nice person in general. So, a lot of the people, I will say, some of the girls, I felt they were so intimidated by me, especially when I get on stage and I perform my task, and act, I sing.
“I am a full package when it comes to being an entertainer. And I think with Whitemoney, he was intimidated by me. There was a particular situation that I made Jollof rice, and the whole House, cuz he has Jollof rice brand, and the whole House liked my Jollof rice, it was amazing, cooked healthy.
“And the next day, he went to make the same Jollof rice and I was like if you are not in competition with me why would you now do same thing the next day?
“So, things like that just made me feel like, okay, question mark. But I don’t have anything against him, I do wish him the best. And I’m not God, and he will do amazing outside of the House.
“I mean, he did love me, he wanted to date me. He can’t deny it because there was something that they call messages and screenshots, that’s receipts. He could never deny it. And I will put it [the receipts] outside, cuz if he tries to say anything.
“When I was doing my restaurant, he did send me…, I didn’t ask him, but he did say, Kam nyere gị aka (let me help you). He did send me a N100k, I didn’t ask him, not that I needed it. It was a nice gesture, so, I am just putting it out before he tries to use that against me”.
