• Ayoola made it clear that his relocation out of Nigeria wasn’t an action taken to jeopardize the success of the TV series.
The popular Nollywood actor, Ayoola Ayolola, who played a major role, as Animu in the TV series, The Men’s Club, has reacted to reports on reason he was replaced in the show, by Big Brother Naija star, Pere Egbi.
Ayoola’s reaction comes days after Pere announced via his social media platforms, that he’s taking up the role of Animu in the popular net series, The Men’s Club.
Pere’s announcement drew many outrageous reactions from fans and lovers of the show, who insisted that Ayoola is and has been the best option for the role of Animu in the show.
Reports also made the rounds that reason Ayoola was removed and replaced with Pere was because he relocated out of Nigeria without the consent of producers of the show.
And according to our source, executive producers and producers of the show decided to strip Ayoola of his role as Aminu, due to his inability to inform them properly before his relocation out of the country.
However, Ayoola took to his Instagram page on Tuesday night, November 9, to react to the reports, as he cleared on what transpired.
According to the actor, his temporary relocation out of Nigeria was a long thought out process which the producer of the show, who happens to be his manager at the time, was aware of and involved in.
Ayoola made it clear that he didn’t relocate without letting the executive producers and producers of the show know.
Nevertheless, he remains grateful to have been part of such a great and amazing show, as he didn’t take any action to jeopardize its success.
Ayoola’s post read, “Hi Everyone, Thank you for all the Love and support. I appreciate you! I remain grateful to have been part of such an amazing show and I did not take any action to jeopardize its success.
“Contrary to what was said, I did not relocate without letting the executive producers and producers of the show know.
“My decision to make a “temporary” move out of the country was a long thought out process in which the producer/my manager at the time was aware of and involved in.
“With that being said, I cannot wait to be back on
your screens again. …Ayoola… Love & Light !!!”
