• Ike had no regrets leaving his relationship with Mercy as he was heard in a viral video saying that his decision to quit was the happiest moment of his life.
Former Pepper Dem reality television star and Big Brother Naija season 4 ex-housemate Steve Ike Onyema has revealed his happiest moment in life.
In a recent interview, Ike stated that leaving his last relationship was the best decision and moment he ever had in his life.
And perhaps, the reality star simply meant that splitting from his ex-lover and co-reality star Mercy Chinenyenwa Eke remained his best decision and he hasn’t regretted taking that step.
“A real relationship only works when you have the right partner,” Ike began. “My happiest moment in life was when I got out of my last relationship. Freedom is something that you can’t just pay for, it’s priceless,” he added.

It would be rightly recalled that during the Pepper Dem reality show in 2019, Ike and Mercy were known as one of the power couples who as they got into the House, developed affection for each other.
They continued their relationship even as they came out of Biggie’s House. But last year, 2020 which almost made it a year they have been together, the Imo State-natives broke up and called it quits.
So many reports went round on the reason they separated which prevalently pointed out that Ike was cheating on Mercy with another lady. And other reports stating that Mercy has found a new man named Mr H.
However, after the interview video went viral on social media, fans and supporters of Mercy took it personal and began lashing out at Ike for not leaving the past behind and move on with his life.
Lambo’s Mercenaries insist that Mr Onyema is pained and couldn’t have any other reason to present as to why he ended his union with Mercy.
