Nigerian top record executive and music producer, Michael Collins Ajereh aka Don Jazzy has voiced his support with many other celebrities seeking justice for the young girls who recently met their untimely death.
Valid Updates recalls that Vera Uwaila Omozuwa, a 100 level Microbiology student of University of Benin was raped and murdered by unidentified men in a Benin, Edo State branch of Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) where she was reported to be studying.
Another young girl, Tina Ezekwe, 17, was shot death in Lagos by two Policemen identified as Theophilus Otobo and Oguntoba Olamigoke just because she was minding her business
Don, who took to his Instagram page on June 1, 2020, holding up a placard with the inscription, “Say No To Rape” noted that the traumatic rape experiences ladies shared everyday is a big thing of worry and he can’t imagine how the victims feel.
He however shamed rapists and rapist apologists, assuring them that they’ll pay for their barbaric crimes one day, believing that they all deserve to die.
He wrote;
“I saw a thread on Twitter, different ladies writing about their traumatic rape experiences. I can’t begin to imagine how these women feel. The pain they suffered and are suffering mentally everyday. It is so heartbreaking. I believe every rapist deserves to die.
“If you are a rapist out there and you see this, you should be ashamed of yourself and I want you to know that one day you will pay for your barbaric crimes. This goes to rape apologists too and those that know a rapist and is protecting them. SHAME ON YOU. #saynotorape #JusticeforUwa #JusticeforTina #WeAreTired”
