Nigerian foremost Media Personality and TV Host, Toke Makinwa has advised Nigerian government to credit every citizens’ bank account with the token sum of N10,000.
Toke’s post was as a result of the Covid-19 lockdown extension which was announced by President Muhammadu Buhari on Monday, April 13, 2020 during his nationwide broadcast.
Buhari noted that lockdown has been extended in three States, Abuja, Lagos, and Ogun which took effect at 11:59 pm same day.
However, Makinwa took to her micro-blogging platform, Twitter to advise and suggest to Nigerian government to credit every person through their bank account details, even as little as N10k will go a long way because 14 more days will do a lot more harm than good.

“Lock down, lock down the least you can do is credit everyone’s account, even if it’s 10k. BVN is available yet you want those who have resorted to being their own government die of hunger? 14 days more is about to bite even harder”
